"We are whole, living systems, not alphabet soup"

Do I sense a typical manifestation of INFP here?
I love your intentions. ;)
You´re right, we should not gravitate towards that kind of generalisation. But unfortunately, most people who will be talking about this subject are bound to take these kinds of "shortcuts". It´s up to us to set these things straight when they start getting out of control.

It can't be a simple manifestation of "INFP" since that's not my type pattern.

I don't know what it's a manifestation of. Perhaps it's the Idealist theme song? Except I heard an INTP sing it first.

I tend to see introverted Thinking (Ti) principles in it, compared to extraverted Thinking (Te), which tends to "segment" and break things apart and deal with things as components rather than as organic systems (like "right brains" and "left brains" -- what is that?).

There's surely a cultural piece in here, since our society as a rule likes everything to be segmented and organized and measured and verified. (That's a struggle we're having within the coaching profession right now: how do you get coaching into corporations when it's so difficult to "measure" results. If you can't "measure" it, then it must be worthless.)

Regardless of where it comes from or what's being manifested, I appreciate all the help I can get around putting the word out there that it ISN'T okay to talk about type in this harmful way anymore. Will you sign on and spread the word?

And how can we continue to enroll people in that outcome?
