I think what Bill is saying is that INFP's are diagnosed with ADD, because the Te which helps keeps them focused in the "here and now" is not consistant. But this inconsistancy is just part of being a normal INFP, and should not be viewed a clinical defect in the person.
I'm brought to mind of an old saying, and I'm wondering how it lands with you....?
"It's not the names they call you that matters; it's the names you answer to that count."
What I notice is that sometimes people are in the habit of beating *themselves* up about certain lapses far and away more often than anyone else would ever comment.
