Use the metaphor of a poker game. When you play poker, you "keep your cards close to your vest." That prevents anyone else from seeing them. In the same way, Fi doesn't usually tell everybody what it's about (compared to Fe, which usually does).

Ouf, these are all out of order.

So... I'm anxious about saying Ni is "practical." What I do know is that the tandem process of Se <--> Ni is invested in making visions REAL. So if I envisioned sending you a box of chocolates for Christmas (Ni), I would probably go to great lengths to make it "real" (Se). So I wonder whether you are conflating "practical" and "real." What dya think?
